The house is one of a row of fishermen's houses built at the end of the 18th century.It faces south directly overlooking a lively port, where there is always activity to watch: the lifeboat, customs vessels, police launches, fishing boats, pleasure craft and yachts, millionaires' super yachts, and commercial vessels bringing fruit from Africa and the Mediterranean.
Beyond are the Pyrennees, rising to over 1000 metres, with ancient watchtowers, and historic forts.
There is free parking on the street, or on the quay below, even in summer
